The pe department

This project will be used to show parents who missed the school opening evening all of the features of the p.e department this will be useful as they will only have to look at the features that they are interested in

There is a wide variety of media types that can be used when creating a product, these types of media include image, sound, video and animation. There is a range of reasons that these types of media will be used for. Videos can be used for tutorials tours and a number of other things, images can be used to advertise show people a clear piece of information. Sound can be used for a voice over for example if you are using a video for a tour you may want a voice over to go with it to make it clearer.

using images will be one effective route to take as they will be highly effective especially if a gallery of a wide variety of images is used that could be show a full department in depth in order to show the target audience the facilities the school has to offer

In my project I plan to use a mixture of all different media types as this will be the most effective approach making it easier to navigate around. I will be doing my project on the schools p.e department this is because it has a lot of features that I would be able to capitalise on by using media to create virtual tours and other content such as tutorials
