for my graphics design pc i decided to go with windows i chose to go with a pc over a mac as if in a few years a neccsesery graphics desighn software comes and my pc doesnt have a powerfull enough cpu or gpu or the ram isnt big enough it will be easier to upgrade. another reason i went with a pc is it is better value for money and can be configured exactly to your needs. the limitations of using a pc is that it has to remain stationary and cannot be moved however this can be ovecome by using external hardrives or online storage such as blackboard or drop box. 

 i chose to go with the intel i7-3770 quad core as it will handle any program efficiently and will be still be able to handle graphics design programs in years to come. i chose to go with 16gb of ram as it will make multitasking a breeze and will handle even the most demanding programs it will also be good for the future(a few years) when this amount of ram may be necessary  for the gpu i chose to get a nvidia geforce 630 which is a mid range graphics card but has enough power for graphics design. for my hard drive i chose to go with one tb although this isnt the largest available it will be enough to hold alot of big graphics files i will also be having an additional 1tb external hardrive for when i want to move large files. i chose to go with a blue ray re-writer drive as blue ray disks can store large and high quality graphics .

 i chose to go with 2 21.5"  monitor which will be useful for multitasking for example i could have Photoshop running on one and illustrator on the other. i also chose a hp office jet so i could print out high quality photos and also scan them in to my pc. the mouse i chose is specifically for graphics design so it will be convenient. i chose a 1tb external hard drive to make sure that i could move around large files the limitations of this is that it is expensive and it can also be lost aor damaged then the work will be used i chose a standard keyboard as it isnt important in graphics design the limitations of this is that it wont break easily. i also decided to buy a camera so i could take high quality photos and pu them on the pc however this will be limited by the battery life as  as it will run out fast due to the flash. 

i chose to go with windows seven ultimate as it is in my opinion the best windows operating system available however in this case i may have been better of with going with a mac and getting OS X v10.8 because when a new version comes out it is free however if a new windows comes out and is better it will have to be purchased. i chose to go with adobe sc6 master suite as it is the latest suite adobe has out and is also easier to learn on windows however it is very expensive. i chose microsoft office buisness 2010 as it will be usefull for doing things such as quotes a limitation of this is that it is expensive and it will have to bought for every cpmputer
